250g minced lamb
1 small onion or 50g, finely chopped
2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
6 cups or 1500ml water
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 sachet MAGGI 11 Vegetables Soup
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (additional)
Preparation - Kofta and Vegetables Soup::
1 Combine minced lamb, onion, and parsley in a bowl. Divide the mixture into equal portions and form them into small balls. Place lamb balls in an oven tray and bake in a 200°C preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until balls are cooked
2 Meanwhile add water and MAGGI 11 Vegetables Soup in a large saucepan.
3 Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the cooked lamb balls and stir.
4 Garnish with additional chopped parsley and serve.
Tip: After baking the meatballs in oven, put them in a strainer to drain off excess fat.
